sic transit gloria mundi

This is a very personal body of work for me. A deep, emotional exploration of my relationship with my father. Coming to terms with his decline into dementia and old age, while reflecting on my own mortality. These are images from my family archive, printed on pages from my father’s 1957 Latin lesson book, then covered in encaustic wax. These pieces are currently featured in a group show at 516 Arts, entitled “New Tableau: Experiments in Photography.”
